Beauty Haul | 03. Drugstore Lipsticks

Ok guys - it's August. When did that happen?!! In other news, I'm talking drugstore lipsticks today. I have such a hard time finding lipsticks that don't dry out my lips or make them crack. Revlon and Loreal have some awesome ones out that I've found work great! The Loreal Color Riche line has so many colors and they go on smooth, not sticky and the color lasts throughout the day.

Beauty Haul : Target Finds

Maybe it's just me, but when it come to makeup and hair care, Target is my go-to. From e.l.f products to classics like Maybelline and Loreal, I can always find exactly what I need and constantly switch up my beauty routine.

E.L.F beauty products - These are great products to grab and keep for when you're in a pinch and need some natural looking makeup. Their lip products come in a wide variety of colors and none seem to be too 'sticky'. I also love their HD blush, it reminds me of other high-end brands but comes in at a whopping $3.

Beauty Haul : The Essentials | 01.

It's Friday y'all! The day that everyone looks forward to over and over and over again! After a day of thunderstorms, I think we could all use a little sunshine and some vitamin-D this weekend. As some of you know, I recently made a huge move from San Diego to Dallas, back home. Not only did this mean a 1500 mile car ride, endless country music and too many stops for chicken strips, it also meant that my skin would be taking a beating. The kind that comes with climate change, all those chicken strips and a drastic change in humidity!

The Summer Bag

Things are finally heating up around here and I think we all know that means an adjustment to our daily routines.

Revlon ColorBurst Lip Crayons : The holy grail of lip color in hot, humid heat. It's not thick or cakey and definitely lasts!

Clinique High Impact Mascara : I don't like fussing over makeup unless its for a night out or a date. This mascara literally gives you the most amazing coverage in max. two sweeps. The waterproof version is great for summer days, although, I stick to the non-waterproof kind for all other occasions!

Two-Faced Pink Leopard Blushing Bronzer : This adds a summer bronze and a spring blush. Not too heavy and doesn't make you look orange, I use this almost every day.

Origins VitaZing Tinted Moisturizer : The only 'face makeup' I use other than a little bronzer. I don't use concealer, foundation or anything else! This gives you a great sheen and covers any little imperfections, while still not being heavy. I've talked about it // here // and still am in love with it.

Evian Mineral Water Spray : Okay guys, everyone needs this for humid, hot, Texas heat (or any other type of heat). It's a face spray, that doesn't get you sopping wet, but is so refreshing, and keeps your makeup in tact. Does it get any better than that?

The Perfect Pink

Up until recently, I never wore anything other than Aquaphor on my lips. Maybe an occasional gloss but most products tend to dry my lips out and leave them feeling awful... The struggle. When I found these lip butters I decided to give them a try and venture down the road to becoming a lipstick wearing lady.
